Vegan Meatloaf Recipe is as follows:
- Oven must be preheated to 350
degrees
- Chop celery, red pepper, onion,
mushrooms and carrots. These must be diced
- Take a big skillet and cook garlic,
carrots, onion, mushrooms, and celery. Add pepper and salt after the
ingredients have browned. You can avoid sticking by using vegetable broth
- Take a food processor and add the
quick oats, bread crumbs, pulse prepared lentils, flax seed, tomato paste,
parsley, cooked vegetables and bbq sauce.
- The end product needs to be chunky
- The base of the glass loaf pan must
be covered with a parchment paper or you can use silicone loaf pan
- Place the dough in the pan & press
the peak gently for forming a bread shape on the top
- It must be then covered with
aluminum foil
- Baking must be done for 35 minutes
- After uncovering, drizzle some more
bbq sauce on the top
- Then place it in the oven again for
10 minutes but uncovered
- After removing from the oven, let
it stand for full 10 minutes prior to cutting
